Health & Safety

Staff undergo a physical when they commence work with the company. They adhere to the Bettersafe Safety Manual for all treatments and services.

Safety equipment is supplied as required by law, to provide personal protection for operators.

Vehicles are inspected by the Workcover Authority for safety requirements under the OH&S Act. Vehicles are also inspected by Sydney Water under their safety audit management scheme. Vehicles and equipment are kept in well-serviced condition at all times.

Safe Work Method Statements and safety management plans are an integral part of our business. Employees adhere to the Bettersafe Employee Safety Manual (3.5MB PDF) for all treatments and services.

An Employee receives training in OH & S using Bettersafe’s Employee OH & S Handbook.
